Quarantine Glow up

Before my move to Canada, my sister was encouraging me (more like begging and pleading) to get subscribe to IPSY’s Glam Bag like she does. I joined at the ending of 2019 and now that Covid-19 has gripped the world by the jugular, boy am I glad I have this little bag of skin care and make-up goodies coming to me every month!

You know the meme saying that half of us are coming out of the self isolation as excellent cooks or fat? I say don’t sell yourself short, do both! I’m cooking all my meals at home still and trying new recipes, but I’m also calling the whole of the Covid-19 era the “Eat ALL the Quarantine Snacks” challenge because this has been my life since the crisis happened.

But just because I’ll be putting on the quarantine-15, at least I can come out of it with glowing skin! Thanks to my IPSY Glam bag, I’ll be coming out of social distancing/self isolation/quarantine fat but with glowing skin.

The March 2020 bag was their 100th bag . I tried the GENERATION CLAY Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask and the CAKE BEAUTY The Curl Friend Defining Curl Cream so far but I have so many other masks, moisturisers, and primers to keep trying out.

If you want in on taking advantage of #SaferAtHome to work on your skin, practice some make up looks, and come out of the global crisis looking flawless, check them out here.

My very first blog experience was when MSN had "Spaces" (long, loonnngggg time ago) and mine was a true reflection of my personality: pink in every customisable option and full of nothingness and nonsense. I created this space to try my hand at writing and sharing what I learn and discover about life, love, and the world in general, with much less pink. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
